Wyndham Estate’s BIN 222 Chardonnay (vintages 2007, 2008 currently on supermarket shelves) is a great value with a price point between $7.99 and $8.99 at the supermarket chains with better wine selections  (e.g. Harris-Teeter, Lowes Foods, Winn-Dixie, Publix).  This beautiful chardonnay has a crisp nose and a nice overlay of oak with a smooth finish.  It’s great on its own, but it stands up well to chicken and pork.
