Notes from the Producer

This Medley of 50% Grenache, 40% Shiraz and 10% Mourvédre has been sourced from older estate managed vineyards from both the Barossa and Clare Valleys. The individual fruit parcels were matured in small, older French and American oak casks for two years before final blending and bottling unfiltered to preserve the intensity and unique characters of this complex and rewarding wine.

Appearance: Rich, brick red in color with crimson tints.

Nose: Sweet cherry fruits, spicy plum and subtle cherry oak flavors meld together as one providing an intensity and lift that only a crafted GSM blend can produce.

Palate: A harmonious blend of cherries, riper plum and prune flavours and a delightful earthiness are the hallmarks of this wines palate. Seamless and rich in structure with soft tannins and alcohol warmth underpinned by subtle oak complexity and long flavor persistence. Cellaring potential of 8–10 years.
