Petite Sirah

Paso Robles

2008

Notes from the Producer

Vineyards

Paso Robles is a rugged vineyard region north of Santa Barbara. Petite Sirah from this region has won the highest competitive scores and is acclaimed for its dark intensity.

Winemaking

This wine was aged in American oak to mature the fruit’s ripe tannins and give it structure and dimension.

Tasting Notes

The finished wine has scents of violet and raspberry. A taste brings to mind a thick slice of juicy blackberry pie, but also shows plum and dried fruit. It is rich and lush, and has just the right amount of spiciness in the finish.
